De lo que este bar se enorgullece es de su cocina irlandesa. Pide su sorprendente bacalao, su bien trabajado solomillo y sus generosas gambas al ajo. Just EXCELLENT. Both food and service. To us, being Italians, it’s tricky to eat well when travelling abroad. We love QUALITY FOOD, and RESPECT FOR RAW INGREDIENTS, and it’s not that easy finding them Yet, personally, we think that eating local food is part of the trip. So we always go for that, hoping that we will be lucky And so it was, at Bridge Bar Restaurant :-D Travelling with my mother, we got a little bit “scared” when we entered the Bar We do love music, and local traditions, but we just needed a quiet dinner. And so it was, because we were settled in the upstairs restaurant room :-D We had: slow braised beef cheek with polenta chips and gremolata + Pan-fried fillet of hake with fishcake, mushy peas and tartar sauce. OUTSTANDING!!!!!!! :-D Expensive? Yes. Worthwhile? Yes. Both FOOD AND WINES were just EXCELLENT. And so it was for the SERVICE: PROFESSIONAL, YET FRIENDLY, AND NOT MONEY-ORIENTED ATTITUDE (as sometimes it, evidently, happened in other restaurants). What else to say? THANK YOU :-D
