This part of the Canal was supposed to be linled with the River Mersey .We'll guess what never happened, yet it would have brought employment and benefits

Cannot fault this place. Its not the Ritz and nor should it be for the price. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable double bed. The staff were friendly and amazing. The prices were cheapest ive seen for some time in the bar. Have not got a bad word to say about this place. Thank you for a great stay. Service: 5

Absolutely disgusted. Paid for a room and when I turned up I had no answer at the door and had to turn around. I was waiting outside for nearly an hour and a half. Everywhere said it was open and I also had no answer when I tried ringing a million times
