Have been coming here as a regular customer since I moved to town just up the road 8 years ago. Doesn't matter what time of day I come in, early 6am runs or a nice afternoon treat, service is quick and friendly, food is well prepared and hot, and it is consistently fantastic every time the same as the last. The mince and cheese pies are amazing, best pastry and the perfect cheese to meat ratio unlike many many others. The Louise slice is made just how I do at home, not over engineered like everywhere else in the city, nobody does it like this place. Custard pies/slices made just how you remember as a kid in the early 2000s, fresh every time and never seem to suffer the cracking or dryness of some other bakeries. I drive 40 minutes across town to still come back despite moving over the years and never disappointed.
