I used to come here a lot when I was growing up. I wanted to bring my kids here. It's nothing like I remember it. Nobody greeting you as you walk in. Everything is WAY over priced, like a Red Bull was $5.99. I spent over $50 on a couple drinks, candy and chips. Never again!

BOYCOTT THIS STORE AND ITS OWNER! The business owner of this popular grocery store in Bryte reportedly earns 1 to 2.5 million dollar annually from the families in its local neighborhood. (Information from: manta.com/c/mt46wf5/bryt… ). I need you to know, this is not a responsible property owner. He has no respect for the town of Bryte. We should not show him respect by the act of spending our money in his store and continuing to make him wealthier. He and his father before him (now deceased) over the years have purchased rental property with the profits from the store in Bryte. They both did and now he continues to operate these rentals as slum residences. These rentals are 1) a duplex on Solano Street at Hobson Ave, 2) Three homes on two properties on Solano Street near Lisbon Avenue and a house or two on Lisbon Avenue next to the store. He allows these income properties to become run down year after year and the tenants to be a nuisance for the neighbors. Each property is run the same way, poorly and without respect for the neighborhood and nearby property owners. You should not thank and support him for running a grocery store in this neighborhood while he is using the profits to destroy the quality of our neighborhood and our lives through his ingrain slum lord mentality he has with these residential rental properties in Bryte. He only cares about easy profits. Over the years of ownership he has never been seen to keep up the properties. He sees them each time he drives down the road to his store in Bryte, but he doesn t do any work on them. He has allowed these properties to become degraded and a nuisance to neighbors. He pockets the profits for his own luxuries. He doesn t put in the work or cash he receives from the rent to maintain them as nice properties. He does not care because he does not live in the neighborhood that he makes $2.5 million annually. He lives in a rich neighborhood and a large beautiful home where neighbors don t disturb him. One big problem is that he rents to too many people for the small homes. And he doesn t maintain the outside (or inside) of the homes or the landscaping (trees and grounds) of the property. It appears he spends no money on the property for any building improvements or tree, shrub, and lawn maintenance. He sees the poor condition of these properties every day he passes them to go to his Bryte Way Market store, but elects to put a blind eye to them. The places look like trash inside and out and over the years he is never seen improving or fixing the properties. Many of his tenants disturb their neighbors with loud continuous music playing. They entertain large family and friends parties outside their homes as though they were in a park, disturbing their neighbors with loud music playing. When neighbors ask them to be more quiet, the response from them is It is not 10 pm yet, we can make noise . That is slum mentality! ... and the landlord/owner is totally aware but does nothing. He is the problem by not addressing and asking his tenants to be more mindful of their behaviors and not disturb the neighbors. This man is appalling. He owns a very successful business in the middle of the neighborhood that is making him millions of dollars on the corner of Lisbon and Solano yet he is known as a true slum lord with the 2 properties he rents on Solano Street in back of his store, the property up Solano Street at the corner of Hobson Ave, and the properties next to his store on Lisbon Ave. All these rental properties are ignored by him, and a problem for the neighborhood. Business and property owners like this who are flourishing from the neighborhood should be held to a high standard and not ignore their responsibilities to be good citizens, neighbors and rental property owners. Making an easy profit should not rest on the burden of neighbors who have to live next to neglected rental property in the neighborhood
