Went tonight (8/11) at the recommendation of a friend. Wife and I are both chicken wing aficionados. They came out cold - and one of my wife's wings did not have breading on more than half of her pieces of chicken. Someone obviously inspected it before bringing it out to us and didn't say a thing. It was almost impossible to have a conversation. For a restaurant that's not terribly big, it was insanely loud. Didn't help there was a guy singing and playing guitar. The music really didn't the vibe of the restaurant, IMO. It felt like it should have been more "dinner music" instead of "90s alt rock music." Not sure why many venues this is a good idea. Waiter (forgot his name but it was a tall man with long hair) did his best, but the food and atmosphere really fall short. Will not return. The views alone do not save this place. The food was ok. The service was not great. There was a noise from the bar when they made drinks that was so loud it really disrupted your conversation and thoughts. The best thing about this place was the view. Will not be going back here again. Very disappointed and prices were high. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $40–50

Buckman’s Grill – Rivière Golf Club, Henderson NV 1/5 We visited about a year ago and left with one thought — we’re never coming back. The service was slow then and still is. For a restaurant sitting inside what’s supposed to be an upscale golf community, this place is anything but. People are not even asking for fancy — just the basics. Decent service. Warm welcome. Warm Atmosphere, Timely food. A little effort. None of that was present. Let’s start with the atmosphere — or lack of it. Plain brown tables, no table covers, zero decor, nothing that gives the space any warmth or personality. It feels like no one asked “how does this look to a guest?” Not once. The service was painfully slow, and when we arrived, there was a “wait to be seated” sign with absolutely no one around to seat us. Honestly? Just take the sign down. Let people sit wherever they want — it would make zero difference because the bar seating was wide open anyway. The bartender was great. We heard the place closed for a while to renovate. Renovate what, exactly? Because whatever happened, it didn’t show. What’s truly frustrating is the potential here. You’re inside a golf club community in Henderson, the clientele is there, the location is there. Everything is in place for a really great dining experience. It genuinely baffles me that the ownership doesn’t seem to see what every guest walking through the door sees immediately. Do better. This place deserves better. Your customers certainly do. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
