Unexpectedly in Hawaii, we were craving Mexican food and stumbled upon this place. It is very much a hole in the wall but the owner was friendly and quick to serve us. He took our order, didn't write anything down, made all the food and brought it out to us outside pretty quickly - and everything was correct! I even thought my order was somewhat complicated. I had loaded nachos with the spicy sauce. It was extra spicy, just how I like it, and the owner came out to check on me thinking it would be too spicy but then laughed when he realized him and I liked the same level of heat. He even went in and brought me back out another drink and was all around helpful and attentive, which I would imagine is difficult when you're literally the only person working in a restaurant. My husband ordered a veggie quesadilla which was also very good. Portion sizes were definitely generous as well, we could have easily shared just the nachos and been fine.

Found this hole in the wall during our adventures in Hilo. The service was fast and polite. The food was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Also, BYOB! What more could you ask for?

Modest space but lots of love offered by this place. The burritos are large and tasty and reasonably priced from $8 to $10. I had the Bueno burrito with chicken my husband had the Jorgina (vegetarian) and they were both very good. Worth a repeat visit!
