So, we visited this pub 17 years ago for our son's Christening and it was a good pub... Now, it's an amazing pub, we visited this pub 7 weeks ago due to family sad circumstances..... And what a suprise, the owner, Piri, was amazing and so supportive... This pub has a lovely atmosphere and a lovely group of locals, that have made us feel so welcome. Piri has been such a support and an amazing friend, that's picked us up when we've arrived with tears in our eyes!!! Lovely beer, lovely wine and such a lovely couple running it. Thank you to Piri and Lynn, but a big, big thank you to you Piri... When we visit this pub in the coming years it will be a worth while visit!!! Have I mentioned that we live in Manchester!!! Strange to have such a lovely local Pub 300 miles away from home.... Thank you. From your new Manchester friends, Nick and Lisa Rose. X. Wheelchair accessibility: Parking in the rear car park I managed to access the pub with my father in law in his wheelchair with no issues, Piri also opened all doors to make entry/exit easy.

Pub was empty but 6 of us sat down to a lovely meal of omelette chips @nd salad food was Ist class and the girl who served it was lovely .Thanks

What a lucky find. Not a Bistro Pub with high end decor but an honest no frills 'Pub'. The Pub we were going to was closed. So we turned up at The Bush hungry at the wrong time of day but the lovely Landlord offered to cook for us and rustled up fabulous Fish and Chips and chocolate sponge and ice cream for pud. We spent a lovely afternoon in the terrace garden area eating and chatting. Only shame was; as the kitchen was officially closed we didn't get chance to try the delicious sounding Indian Dishes. But we are back to the UK at Christmas so will definitely go back and rectify that!! So thank you again for the wonderful service and friendly approach, it was good old fashioned 'hosting' at its best. Best wishes to you, Sue, Grahame and Dot.
