We had an excellent experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the fish fry was fresh and flavorful, and the Old Fashioneds were some of the best we’ve had. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food and making sure their guests have a great experience. It’s the kind of classic Wisconsin supper club where you can enjoy a great meal, relax with family and friends, and actually feel welcomed. We’ll definitely be coming back. Food and mixed drinks (yummy lemon drop martini) were delicious. Our server, Andreas?, really hustled. The only problem we had was the table wasn't big enough for all the food we ordered!! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $70–80 Recommended dishes: Baked French Onion Soup, Famous Butler Inn Haystack Onion Rings

I felt the staff were okay. The bartender had a bit of an attitude. The waitress was fine. The blinds next to our table were filthy with food bits and dust. There were fruitflies EVERYWHERE and no one said anything as I'm trying to eat my $60 steak flailing my arms around swatting them away. The French onion soup upgrade was not good- it had fennel seeds in it. The steak was totally premade from a package- no one wrapped that disgusting piece of fat around my perfectly round fake tenderloin. The baked potato was really overdone and crunchy on the end. My overpriced drinks had zero alcohol in them and the onion strings that come with the steak were soaked in liquid instead of crispy and fresh. Bottom line: overpriced, filthy and dirty. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: $80–90
