If you haven't tried this place yet, you're seriously missing out it's a 1000000/10 and then some. The meat pies are unreal. The crust is light, perfectly flaky, and every single bite is packed with flavour. You can tell they care about quality because everything is fresh, clean, and made with love. Kris was super nice and incredibly helpful, which made the whole experience even better. It's rare to find a spot where both the food and the service hit this level. I'd 100% recommend coming here. This is easily one of Calgary's best hidden gems. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Byblos Bakery smells heavenly of freshly baked bread- not your usual bread! It’s a Middle East bakery so the bread is fresh rounds of balady-Arabic for local or common- pita bread. Comes in white, whole wheat and protein fortified-all our delish. Dare I say healthy- there’s no trans fat!! They also have honeyed baclava, basbousa, chocolate eclairs and various other gooey goodies with chocolate , cream and nuts- plenty of pistachios!! For lunch they will heat up pies filled with chicken , cheese with zatar or felafel wraps.For a mere $5-7 you can have a hot lunch-beef on a pita or savoury chicken or cheese with herbs. All yummy. You can take this out, like the local workers on their lunch hour or sit on one of their 4 tables. All the while watching people in ethnic garb and listening to various languages predominantly Arabic! It’s a cultural experience, not to be missed!! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Such a great place for lunch! My colleagues and I have been going for a while now and we always have such a great experience. Amazing food and even better service. We love trying new things. Rowan is the best, thank you so much!!!
