Booked for a table for 7 for a Saturday evening at 19:00, to have a nice dinner with our friends visiting us for the first time. Arrived there on time and started being served after a waiting time, which was unusual for a Brazilian meat restaurant. After being served for for a couple of rounds, we were served the pineapple, stating that they ran out of meat. (Only pork, lamb and pineapple was available after then.) We are not pork eaters, nor not lamb lovers either. We were there to enjoy the beef varieties, along with some chicken. Planning a fancy dinner with our close friends, all real carnivores and no beef and chicken left on a Saturday evening session. What can be the most embarrassing for a Brazilian meat restaurant serving unlimited meat? Our friends had to drink their vine without anything to eat. We had to cut our dinner short due to this unfortunate experience. Of course they offered cutting half the price of the meats only, to me this was still unacceptable as our night was already ruined, but accepted the offer just not to create further dramas for our friends. A true restaurant would have never let this happen or at least find a quick solution to fix the issue, regardless how much this would have costed them. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

What an amazing valentines day meal we've just had, the food was its usual amazing standard plus a lovely brownie and bubbly drink included in our meal! The service was excellent as always and they really do have the most addictive cheesy mash! Honestly love this place, never had a bad experience, the perfect lunch for the perfect valentines day Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We’ve eaten here before and my son specifically asked to come back, so we were looking forward to our visit. Unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, the restaurant was around 80% empty, yet the waitress made a show of “trying to fit us in,” which felt unnecessary. She eventually seated us, asked if we’d been before, and then walked away without explaining anything further, so we headed to the salad bar. When we returned to the table, she informed us they were offering a Valentine’s special at £29.99, which included a “free” brownie and prosecco. The standard lunch menu price is £19.99, so this was 50% more expensive. I simply couldn’t justify paying nearly £30 for what is essentially a lunchtime buffet meal. I explained that I was happy to order from the standard menu, but was told I didn’t have a choice. I advised that I didn’t want the extras (plus I don't drink) and would have to decline, but by that point my 9 year old son had already started eating from the salad bar. The waitress then promptly removed my plate and cutlery and walked away without any further discussion. To be fair, the gentlemen serving the meat were friendly and welcoming to my son, which we appreciated. However, the overall experience left us feeling uncomfortable. My son quickly finished his meal and we left. To make matters worse, I later noticed on the receipt that she had written a note not to give my son any chips — which are included in the kids’ meal anyway! A very disappointing experience, we won’t be returning. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
