I apologize for being late with this review! EVERYTHING and EVERYONE here is amazing. Danny was our server, and we had a large party of 16 for graduation- she was awesome! The manager Donde was so nice and helpful. But the food?? Beyond delicious! The lamb hummus was fresh and the pitas soft. The burrata salad was so inventive and refreshing. No one had a bad dish! Danny recommended the grapefruit mule- we passed it around and then everyone ordered one. The ONLY bad thing is that I live in Houston and can't go every weekend! Thank you for making my sons graduation weekend from Howard top notch! You all are a class act!!!

Best meal in DC. Try the Shakshuka with shrimp...first time for me and wow! Spicy and so flavorful! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I really think, if the business owenr sees this yelp page, they need to change their name on here to "Carving Room NoMa" because it being called CR NoMa is confusing and might make it tricky to find on here; at least it's "Carving Room NoMa" on Google. That said, whooo boy is this place good. Parking is tricky unless you park near Wunder Garten but CR NoMa is right off the Metro, so just do that. Gratuity included. Ambiance is lovely, hip and trendy with great vibes and they still had all of their Pride flags up when we were there with friends, which was lovely. Our server, who I think said her name was Danni, was attentive and great. Food: I'm not gonna mention what everyone else in our party had, mostly because I don't remember, but my fiancee started with the "classic cigars" which are baby spring rolls, and I started wiht the cripsy baby dutch potatos. I wanted more zip from the paprika mayo and didnt get much rosemary or thyme on the taters, but it was still very tasty. As was hers. She then got the lamb flatbread and I got the Pastrami Poblano. I liked the flavors on hers, it was very good. My Pastrami Poblano was amazing. just the right balance of meat, spice and sauce. The fries were nice too. We were there during happy hour and while I think the cocktails were still maybe $1-$2 too expensive for that window the Old Fashioned was perfectly balanced, the Pimms Cup was lovely and the Passionfruit Mule was awesome. Strong contender for a favorite restaurant for sure.
