Only had 1 salmon fish set to share as we were not hungry. But the salmon was absolutely delicious. If we go back to Itoshima again, will definitely go back to the restaurant. Re-visit in July 2024 / Although Itoshima is less lively during the rainy season, Current is full of people who have made lunch appointments. Of the four lunch menu items (from ¥3,080 after tax), I ordered steak made with Itoshima pork and chicken and Margherita Pizza (¥1,650 after tax). Lunch consisted of a welcome drink, 3 appetizers, a main dish, and bread or rice. The pizza was baked in a wood-fired oven, so it was extremely crispy, and the flowing cheese and tartar were refreshing and attractive. The vibe of the entire staff is always good, and the interior of the restaurant is well maintained with an antique feel. -------------------------------------------------- Revisited after 7 years in April 2024. The famous Current is still alive and well as the owner of Itoshima. I visited at 10:30 am and lunch orders are available from 11 am. There is still a large daily temperature difference so it is difficult to sit on the terrace in the morning. All the employees greet you with a smile, and they are all handsome men and women with exotic looks^^ It is a bakery cafe that bakes their own bread, so you can buy packaged bread or have it served on a plate. I ordered the cafe latte (¥660) for the first time and was surprised at how good it was I was also satisfied with the strawberry tart (¥605) If you order coffee and dessert together, get ¥100 off the total price! -------------------------------------------------- - This cafe is both a bakery and a restaurant located in front of the Itoshima coast. Every nook and cranny of the space was beautiful. The signature menu item that is being popular here these days is caramel cheese parfait. The sweetness of the tiramisu banana that melts softly with the crispy caramel exterior that is slightly scorched by fire You can also purchase bread and cookies that are baked here every day on the inside display stand. Current was located high on the embankment, so the view was excellent. Outdoor tables are popular on days when the weather is nice. This cafe was visited by many Japanese locals, mostly couples. Plenty of parking space and very friendly staff! This is a place I always visit as it is the best place to watch the sunset of Itoshima.
