While the frontdoor greeting wasnt there....we loved this place. Our waiter was a gent named Jack, he was awesome. He took good care of us and we wanted for nothing basically. Great view. And Im hoping everyone understands this is TEX MEX. The food was exactly along those lines. Think El Chico or Chuys. This is very similar except again....on the bay! Margaritas were calm and nice. Queso and Acapulco dip are amazing as were the chips and salsa. Only one suggestion...there is NO railing where you park right up on the water. Thats dangerous. Watch your kids and hold their hands!

Having a bay view out back on a nice Saturday afternoon is the highlight. 4 star plus.

Food is not memorable once you get past the thick chips with pretty much Pace salsa. Relleno and tamale were frozen food heated up.

Service was friendly but spotty and I had a weird time trying to get a DIET Dr Pepper. First one not diet, drank anyway. Another server stopped by later and I asked for a refill of DIET Dr Pepper only to get wrong one again. After meal they brought me a to go drink with lid which was a nice touch until they took it away while cleaning the table while I was in conversation. It felt like a Twilight Zone episode.

Will not return since there are many better places on the Causeway. This is a one and done.

We were seated immediately since it was a very slow night and 10 minutes later, not even a greeting. We gave up and headed for the door. A server noticed and alerted the manager. She seemed sincerely concerned that we hadn't been helped. When I asked whose section we were in the manager said she would have to look. When I pressed again for the servers name, the manager said Taylor. Without going and looking.
Lost faith in the manager when she said that she didn't want to throw her servers "under the bus".
We were pretty regular customers. We thought the food was good (when the kitchen was willing).
