If you are looking for a dining experience that combines authentic flavors with genuinely warm hospitality, Cafe Japan is a must-visit. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that they prioritize their guests, starting with a thoughtful welcome: a refreshing hot towel, which set the tone for the entire meal. The food was nothing short of amazing. We ordered the Teriyaki Chicken, the Yakiniku Pork, and an order of dumplings. Each dish was prepared to perfection, bursting with authentic flavor and high-quality ingredients. What truly sets Cafe Japan apart, however, is their incredible generosity. Throughout the meal, we were delighted to receive complimentary salad and iced tea. To finish things off on a sweet note, they surprised us with complimentary dessert and toffee, which was the perfect ending to a wonderful dinner. The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from start to finish. If you’re craving delicious Japanese cuisine served with a side of true kindness, make sure to add Cafe Japan to your list. Highly recommended! Really good authentic Japanese food for a reasonable price. Clean, cosy atmosphere with calm music playing in the background and very attentive, friendly staff. Sushi was on point and a fairly big portion as well. Miso soup was average.loved the strawberry panna cotta. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: Rs 3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Probably one of the last good restaurants in colombo. The food is amazing, it arrives quickly and it's reasonably priced. The staff is exceptional. They are courteous and knowledgeable about the dishes and give sincere recommendations. The atmosphere is authentic. They even have an collection of Manga in the corner! 5 Price per person: Rs 5,000–6,000
