Cafe K is a gem in Downtown Silver Spring. First the food is some of the absolute best available. Everything is prepared with care & you can tell. The ingredients somehow make even what you would assume a panini to be something more than what you were expecting on first dine. I have become obsessed with their paninis. They melt a substantial amount of gooey cheese delivering joy in each bite. Dan the owner is genuinely invested in his establishment. He takes time for each customer to feel at home. He takes service as seriously as the quality of his food. He has curated the best of the best in terms of his staff from food preparation to hostess & wait staff. His daughter hosts the register greeting everyone with an inviting smile that makes you feel immediately like you have been drawn to dine here over & over again for every reason you could dream of. This kosher under rabbinical supervision restaurant has an extensive menu. The food is excellent. The restaurant can get crowded at times and as a result customer service is sometimes on the slow side. In general, the restaurant is very good and well worth a visit. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The menu details are very creative and really excellent! Cafe K is completely understated. Don’t let the terms cafe or bistro or even the menu item names fool you. There nothing common about the implementations. We have been here several times and each bite is delicious! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast
