We were afraid to go because of the last few reviews, but decided to try on our own. And it was great desicion. The food was delicious and service was excellent, thank you! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €15–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Decent bar/restaurant in the camping. The food is good with reasonable prices, and on the Saturday night the bar was busy with a fun vibe, with many of the full timers out for an evening drink. The only downside is it only takes cash, no credit cards. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

OK, so me and the husband arrive at Olhão Campsite around 7pm on a Sunday evening. We had just driven 420 miles towing a 4 berth caravan. I had planned to cook on arrival, but after finding a pitch etc, it was too dark, and too much like hard work. So we wandered around to this bar / restaurant on the campsite. I ordered a beer, bottle of red and, bbq chicken and chips twice. Then we realised they only took cash! and we didn't have any! After some discussions with the waiter, a very agreeable gentleman called Paul, the owner agreed to let us eat and pay her the next day. That is the reason for my 5* review for service. You could see she wasn't happy; she didn't know is from Adam, but agreed. The 5* review for food is deserved. The chicken was so succulent, good portion of salad and crisp fries. We ate there again 2 days later (we'd already paid our outstanding bill by then). I had the homemade lasagne, again; a huge portion and comfort food personified. We are still at the campsite that accommodates this restaurant and plan to try a few other homemade dishes before I leave for blighty. Oh, and a bottle of very nice red was only €9.50!
