Ordered food to go this evening and I should have checked the bag before I pulled out because we were missing a guacamole which I was charged $2.89 for. Prior to leaving a review, I read comments on Google and I must admit I was surprised that Cafe Rio had such lousy reviews. Only two locations in the greater Phoenix East valley area had above a four-star review!! I think their food is terrific! But with the amount of negativity people are experiencing from bland service workers, pissy attitudes, and continually missing items and special orders, there's no way this business will keep their doors open. I know they've been around a while, but this evening when I was in the restaurant, there was one individual eating inside. And the couple that picked up a to-go order before me was also missing items from their order. Because they came back in before I left to get them! I don't know if it's poor training or just young workers who don't give a crap, but it's not acceptable. And I probably won't continue to give them business.
