Hotel Benilde Maison De La Salle's breakfast and All Day Dining Restaurant. Cafe' Romancon's ambiance is relaxed and contemporary. The unique aspect of the restaurant is serving as a real-world training ground for the hospitality and culinary students of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. We ordered the Spanish Omelette with Chipotle Sausage but the sausage was unavailable so they allowed us to chose amongst the other proteins like Bacon, Vigan Longanisa or Tapa. The Vigan Longanisa was umami packed specially dipped in vinegar. She wanted to sleep in so I requested if the other plated breakfast could be packed for consumption in the room. Restaurant staff was amiable and packed the Tapa Silog Meal which had tender and classic dry tapa which we prefer. If the breakfast was buffet, would have given higher stars but it is understandable that low occupancy meant plated breakfast option so for service. During my recent staycation with my mom and my daughter at Hotel Benilde, we had our meals at Cafe Romancon. Our staycation at Hotel Benilde was extra special as my daughter, #ExhibitA, and I were looking forward to spending some quality time with my mom. For some time, Mommy has also been requesting for an outing where “three generations” – her, me and my daughter – can just be together.
