Usually I love Cafe Sol and the staff are friendly, which is why today’s experience was so disappointing. The server, Grace, made us feel like we were an inconvenience from the moment we arrived at the counter. We ordered a 99 cone in a tub, which we expected to cost €1, but we were charged €3.75 instead. When we questioned it, Grace shrugged at us, rolled her eyes, and said in a disgusted tone, “Well, you’re paying for a bigger one.” When we got the ice cream, it was also missing the flake that we had been charged for. After we pointed it out, she again rolled her eyes, grabbed a flake, aggressively shoved it into the ice cream, and walked away without saying anything.
