Not only were both the ladies behind the counter very rude, one of them looked so miserable I thought it was a joke, she then asked if I am eating in or takeaway, I said takeaway she basically snatched the sandwich out of my hand,and then proceeded to put my chicken mayo under the panini grill without asking just did it, i tried to ask them not to but she had walked off, However the man that served me the food was very polite and the food itself although overpriced was actually very tasty. Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10

We visited for the first time today while grabbing a quick lunch during school shoe shopping, and we’re so pleased we finally stopped in after walking past so many times. Café Central is absolutely spotless and offers an impressive range of options, from fresh cold sandwiches and delicious cakes to a great selection of hot food. We chose breakfast sandwiches and even though my daughter wanted a sausage and bacon combination that wasn’t listed on the menu, it was no trouble at all for the staff to accommodate. The team were incredibly friendly and it’s clear they genuinely enjoy what they do. The sandwiches were delicious, and even my very fussy daughter loved hers – which says it all! We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend a visit. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Awful rude customer service. Sent back my latte that was basically just hot milk with very little coffee. Asked politely . Bad attitude and rudeness from young girl serving. Also other staff bad attitude. Real shame. People vote with their feet. Won't be back.
