Bare Bones Chicken Wings is a brilliant example of how a small venue can deliver a truly standout experience. The space itself is compact, but it has everything you need—lively, welcoming, and full of atmosphere. On a Wednesday, booking is a must, and it’s no surprise why. The restaurant was nearly full, with delivery drivers constantly coming in and going out, yet the service remained seamless from start to finish. We visited as a group of five, plus a baby and pushchair, and the team couldn’t have been more accommodating. They made sure we had plenty of space and were completely comfortable, which immediately set the tone for the evening. I made a point of asking for the team’s names for this review, as the service genuinely impressed me—Jake, Becca, Alysha and LA were all exceptional. Friendly, attentive, and incredibly well-coordinated, they handled a busy service with ease and professionalism. It’s clear they work hard, and it absolutely shows. The highlight, of course, is Wing Wednesday—an outstanding deal offering unlimited wings in as many flavours as you can enjoy within one hour. Impressively, this isn’t just about volume; every serving came out fresh, hot, and full of flavour. The Hot Honey wings were a particular standout and easily a must-order. Bare Bones delivers on every level: great food, fantastic value, and a team that goes above and beyond even under pressure. This is exactly the kind of place that deserves recognition—not just for the food, but for the people behind it.
