However the owner gave me a very odd service experience, to say the least - I was browsing the dozens of cakes they had and trying to make a decision of which one is the best choice in terms of what I want. So I told the owner it will take a minute and I’ll kindly let you know.
However the owner appeared to be not trusting me and was still standing behind the counter and staring at me - it made me very uncomfortable and he went on to ask:” Why is it taking so long??” and “what you want you should already know right??” - in a tone as if he has 20 other clients waiting in line, while in fact i'm the only one.
I tried to speed up my decision making and asked him what’s in some of the cakes, and he answered in a way as if I have no right to ask. I tend to want the Butter Scotch cake and when I point out to him that you had “Blackforrest” cake sign in front of the Butterscotch, he slammed opened the counter, and it was LOUD, and place it the way it should.
When I went with the butterscotch, he wrapped it up the way like he doesn’t need this sales.
I just don’t know which skill assessment authority granted him the qualification to question how the hell a customer doesn’t even know which cake they want? In the manner he questioned me?
Anyway I’d like to apologize to the owner for taking some time to decide and ask him about the product he produced.
I pray that Jesus blesses his cake business.
