Calbee+ is a specialty store centered around the Calbee snack brand, offering up both prepackaged and fresh trips to travelers in Tokyo Station. I honestly didn’t expect freshly fried Calbee potato sticks to be this addictive. They come out piping hot, super crispy on the outside, but still fluffy inside in a way packaged chips obviously can’t replicate. I tried the thick-cut version, and it genuinely tasted like elevated fast food snack engineering at its peak. Ordering was pretty easy since everything is done through the ticket machine. You order, pay, then wait for your number to be called. What makes the place fun is that it’s not just about the hot snacks. The shop is packed with exclusive Calbee flavors and weird limited-edition products that honestly make you want to buy way more snacks than you planned to.

Just landed in Okinawa and Calbee Plus was the best detour we made! Freshly fried potato chips made right in front of you? Unreal. The sea salt & Okinawan brown sugar flavors are addicting. Staff was super friendly and let us sample before buying. If you only buy one souvenir in Okinawa, make it this. Already planning my next trip back just for more chips

Come here if you want to be overstimulated to the max. While the food was good and okay with pricing, the wait time can be long because of the amount of people that are always at this store. There are other stores all around this store with their staff constantly calling for customers to come in There are only four small round tables and a small bench for around six adults to sit, so unless you get lucky to get a spot, you will not have a place to eat. I would not advice visiting this store.
