I’ve been to many restaurants in Riyadh, but Calicut Live Restaurant holds a special place in my heart – not just for the food, but for the incredible live music experience. Every time I visit, I’m blown away by the singer who performs live. His voice, energy, and the way he connects with the audience are simply unmatched. Honestly, he's the main reason I keep coming back again and again. The music creates a relaxed yet lively ambiance that you rarely find elsewhere. Now, talking about the food – it’s consistently good and authentically South Indian. The Kerala-style dishes, especially the beef roast, parotta, and fish curry, are flavorful and well-prepared. The menu is quite extensive, and the staff are always helpful when it comes to recommending dishes. The food arrives hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and family-friendly. On weekends, it does get a bit crowded, but the service remains efficient, and the staff are polite and attentive. The live music usually starts in the evening, so it’s the perfect time to come if you're looking to enjoy dinner with some soulful performance in the background. If you're someone who enjoys live music while dining, this is the place to be. The singer truly makes the night special, and I would honestly go even if it was just to hear him perform. His talent adds a unique charm that sets Calicut Live apart from other places. Overall, great food, excellent service, and phenomenal live music – Calicut Live is one of Riyadh’s hidden gems that deserves more recognition.
