Absolutely horrible. I’ve been going to CPK for 25 years and was so excited when this one opened. The food was not the same at all. Dry pizza, tortilla soup is totally different. So disappointing. Don’t waste your money.

I often dine at California Pizza Kitchen, but in recent years, the experience has gotten worse and worse. It started with the Solana Beach location closing, and since then I’ve noticed declining cleanliness standards, followed by increasingly poor service at other locations. This time, I could clearly see that my food was ready, but none of the servers brought it to my table. I watched it sit there for 15 minutes—my pizza just sitting out, getting cold. I even had to wave someone down and tell them before anyone finally went to get it. I won’t be coming back again. There’s a reason this place only has a 4.2 rating. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Food was great atmosphere and service good as well BUT Were early eaters and are there for Happy Hour. The last 4 times we were there; they said they were out of all the white wine listed on the happy hour menu; but would gladly upsell us to the almost double the price of the regular. We love the food and will ask next time before we go to avoid this bait and switch - server even mentioned it by what it is bait and switch. Nice place and food; sad they have to resort to these tactics. Server got small tip as well Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
