Cute boulangerie in Carlton, serving one of the best and reasonably-priced croissant and pastries. My favourites are the mixed berry twist and chocolate hazelnut croissant. Husband tried the fried chicken sandwich, such generous and delicious filling! Delightfully fresh and delicious! A pleasant discovery, a quaint little bakery with Parisian charm in Rathdowne st. Had a selection of pastries which I have to say the presentation just makes your mouth water. Also really yummy. I also had one of the savoury lunch rolls which was really good, you can tell straight away it is fresh! What's nice about this place is it's not pretentious, the service is friendly which makes it nice to visit. It does get busy though so when you see the queue you know it's good. Incredable concept and delicious pastries, what a fabulous place we will definitely be back , made the comute from regional Victoria over 1hr away and didn't disappointment.....thank you wonderful Calle bakery owners and staff ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
