That is a place to remember. Somehow I just love how vegan haute cuisine can be more refined and surprising than regular haute cuisine. The search of perfect balance between plant-based ingredients of all sizes and different levels of fermentation gives very unique tastes, and I find it quite interesting and playful to guess what’s in your plate. At Camionette you get a world-class fine dining experience for a reasonable price. The welcome and service are professional, warm and homely. The 6 dishes were all pearls for the eye and the adapted drinks, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic, were a clear added value that seamlessly matched the flavor palette of the dishes. The tone was set by the three delicious and creative amuses and this exceptional quality continued throughout the rest of the menu. When I think of vegan, I think of the need to replace meat. This is by no means the case with Camionette. The dishes are so unique that you never think for a moment that not a single animal product has ended up on your plate. The open kitchen was manned by friendly and experienced staff who masterfully created the mise-en-place on your plate. We enjoyed 4 hours in the purest sense of the word. Recommended.
