Have eaten here for years, food always good but intermittent service and not always in order. Last time we were there we had a young girl mopping the reception area...used for both bill paying and collecting take away orders! Then a young lad vacuumed the carpet with a VERY noisy vacuum, yes, around tables where patrons were eating. When we complained as we left we were told "Well he has to do it all before he leaves". Beggars belief in a service industry! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Aitkenvale resturant Went in was told food service for dinner would be 35 mins .that's okay and we sat down. Ordering was prompt and the waiter was nice. Steamed dim sims were hard quite awful and i was disappointed. Spring rolls were better . Sweet and sour pork was okay but the chicken chow mein with crispy noodles wasn't good very salty and not a good mix of vegetables. Was surprised the crispy noodles were exta . Special fried rice was the wrong colour was mainly white rice with pieces of cubed ham and egg with peas Was expensive . First time trying this restaurant. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

We go here at least once a month and love the food. $12 lunch specials are Great and we even get to take the left overs home ( cause they are so big ) Best Chinese in Townsville. love all the Capitol Regent Chinese Restaurants.
