Impeccable Customer Service Captain Hooks was an unexpected find, and I’m glad we stopped. My man had just gotten off work and was set on Church’s Chicken. We drove to one that Google said opened at 10:00 AM, but when we arrived, they still weren’t open at 10:30. While figuring out our next move, I remembered passing Captain Hooks. I pulled up the reviews, checked out the menu, and decided to give them a try. Best decision we could have made. I ordered the fried cod fish sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. I also had the crab bites and beignets, and both were excellent. The pink lemonade was refreshing and full of flavor. My son enjoyed his meal, and my man loved his 3-piece fish meal and slush. In fact, after eating at Captain Hooks, he wasn’t thinking about Church’s Chicken anymore. The customer service was just as impressive as the food. The lady who helped us was kind, personable, and welcoming. She explained our options, answered questions, and made us feel right at home without being overbearing. Great food, great drinks, and outstanding customer service. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back. Price per person: $20–30 Recommended dishes: Fish Sandwich, Crab Bites

The guys working there are nice. The food was good and hot, but the grease did taste old and so did my fries. However, the shrimp were hot and well seasoned. I also had fish which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which I usually don’t like. But I think that this place hit the spot that I was looking for in Dothan. The prices are reasonable too. I’ll definitely be back. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

They were very professional and courteous. We came in a little late they had no issue assisting us and the service was fast. The food was still great and hot. My mom got the wings and I got gizzards, no complaints on either. Would definitely go back the next time I'm in town. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
