I have to say this I have been in a couple of days ago fish supper and come well the fish was that well cooked it was breaking apart and burnt through the chips where soggy like a wilted lettuce. I threw the lot to the seagulls on the parade wall to eat and no point going back to complain as they don’t care well when IG goes for sale again then they will learn woukd have been better keeping my money and not giving it here beware everyone it’s rotten

My partner and I sat in and ordered our food. We waited around 40 mins, as did a few other tables after us. While we waited, queues of takeaway customers were arriving after us. They all got served before us and this kept on happening (customers coming off the street and ordering then getting their food before us) Then a table who ordered well after us, got their food first. The other table complained then we did as well. We all also complained about the takeaway customers were getting served before us. (I’m sure there were at least 20) We went up to the counter and the owner/fryer tried to blame the young girl for not “putting it in the till” but the girl checked and told him she had. So as the owner, he had no clue whatsoever what was going on in his shop (he didn’t even notice nobody sitting in, were getting served) then tried to blame others as he was telling a young boy off before this, even tho we heard it was his first day! So everyone else’s fault but his own, when in reality it was all his fault! I’ve noticed in the reviews, that this has happened to others! (Orders “apparently” not in, even tho their orders had been taken!) We definitely wont be going back! And judging by comments, others won’t either! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20

I called in to The Captain's Table this afternoon and was asking if they served Gluten Free Chips and was informed that they did not. Please delete your add regarding G. F. as it is misleading.
