Great food, great service and wonderful background music. It all made for a very nice evening. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40

Very slow almost absent service and the food was cold. Our waitress left and became a bartender? Another waiter helped us with our bill and he was great!! Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30

My husband and I were on a road trip last January and stumbled upon the Winter's Hotel and instantly fell in love. We got a beautiful room and decided to take advantage of the 10% discount and Carboni's Ristorante. After a long day driving we were ready for a nice meal and some drinks. We sat at the bar and the Asian girl bartending completely ignored us. She passed by us several times with no eye contact or greeting whatsoever. We kept trying to get her attention and were unsuccessful. Finally, after about 20 minutes I asked her if we could eat at the bar. She very rudely said, "did you need a menu?". We were so turned off, but were starving and decided to stay. The food was great and we tried to make the best of it. I noticed she kept looking at her watch and 40 minutes before closing, she said "did you want anything else?". I've been a bartender for 20 years and can't imaging treating customers this way.
