I recently drove in from Saint John to meet someone at Caribbean Flavas, and I would absolutely do it again. I would rate my experience more than 5 stars if I could. I had called ahead and arrived to a personalized table, owners who knew my name, and the kind of greeting and treatment one would normally reserve for family and the most special of guests. The food was great, the atmosphere was fun and cozy, and the service and conversation was a treat and a blessing. You guys have created a gem. It was so good to meet you, Papa and family. A group of four of us came looking for a good meal that wasn't burgers and fries, needing some variety in our trip's diet, as we were in for a sports tournament. And Flavas showed us what we'd been missing on our trip in all the right ways. Too bad we didn't eat there sooner! Most of us had the Jerk chicken and one person had the Tapas plate and everything was fantastic. Mama's cooking and spice mix made the food taste like home cooking and tasted fresh. The service was fantastic, timely, and you could feel like you were old friends or family visiting. The owner showed us a medal in their display cabinet and told us the story behind it which was riveting. I would have packed some food for the flight home if I could, but all the excuse to return one day. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality food and amazing hospitality. Had a delicious meal at Caribbean Flavas Restaurant & Catering in Fredericton. From the moment we walked in, Naz gave us a warm welcome and took the time to chat. The food was tasty and well-presented, and the restaurant had a wonderful ambiance. We will definitely go again. They also do catering.
