Second update: 02/26/2026 - Good afternoon, I was told by your guest relations department that you would be reaching out to me about what I encountered in your restaurant. Will I be hearing back from you, store # 1100106 manager? First update: from approximately 3 weeks ago r so - I have not heard from guest relations regarding this incident since February 2nd via email. I acknowledged the email and have since followed up but have not heard back. Is there anyone who can please get back me? I will be sending a strongly worded email to the corporate office regarding, "Hilda" who appeared to be the person in charge. As according to Hilda Carl's Jr., store # 1100106, located at 10010 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, Ca 92503, the dining room is closed from 7:34 p.m. to 7:55 p.m. if the customer is a 42 year old, Caucasian male, 6'2", 218lbs, with short brown hair, a short brown and white beard, clean grey tank top, new blue jeans, clean brown leather work boots, wearing a backpack just purchased at the Salvation Army for a great price, and carrying a sand camo patterned military backpack. I asked Hilda immediately after being asked to leave for no reason other than looking how I do if it was because I was an honorably discharged and decorated U.S.Army Veteran, she replied with a hand gesture that I was unaware of the meaning of and then I asked a second time and HIlda mumbled something and walked away towards the front of the restaurant. Until this interaction between HIlda and I, I was the only customer in the store and just then enters a young African American male, approximately 22-26 years of age, 5'8", 175lbs wearing stonewashed patterned dickie like work shorts, a sky blue-ish jacket, a hat if I remember correctly carrying 3-4 backpacks and a similar size duffle bag and I believe without purchasing anything, used the restroom, where as I had just purchased 3 items (order numbers were 147871 & 147872 totaling $15.41 after I asked the young man behind the counter for the cheapest value meal they had... According to the receipts he too was, "Hilda"), the African American male then left the restaurant making me the only person inside that was not an employee, and I was asked to leave why? I had not been in the restaurant for 30 minutes as that is normally the posted time limit for anyone with a backpack? I believe my point is that Hilda is racist making the atmosphere inside completely gross. I would like an apology and a refund, the food was near as distasteful as the atmosphere.
