We are reposting feedback that is obviously not published, so a little late since it was New Year's Eve on December 31, 2022, but we wanted my partner and I to express our dissatisfaction. We loved this place discovered in summer during an aperitif in their pretty garden and the team and the atmosphere were very cool which is why we had booked New Year's Eve thinking we would enjoy it! After having paid in advance for 2 people at With ammunition, we went to Carthel's at 9:45 p.m., the time of our reservation. We had to wait almost 2 hours to get our first dish. The formula was unique, in the form of tapas, so we were surprised at how slowly the dishes arrived. Although we called out to the waiter several times it was of no use, we even hesitated to leave but we had brought forward the meals.... After 3 cocktails we started to eat around 11:30 p.m., the dishes were all lukewarm or cold but being very hungry we didn't send anything back.... The team had distributed party hats and other festive items but not to us because we were eating, when we asked for them there was nothing left for us since we finished our meal well after midnight. We stayed until around 1am but were no longer in the spirit of partying, this delay having considerably spoiled our evening. With the pre-paid meals we spent around €185 in total since we had to drink several cocktails to wait. We leave and as an apology the waiter offered us 2 shots of jet 27..... Lamentable and bordering on misunderstanding when you know the price and taste of this “alcohol”. Offering us a bottle of wine or compensating us for every other meal would have been much more professional. A nice trick to start the year 2023...
