Casa Geraldo Carnival Sunday, February 11, 2024, a couple of friends with their 7 year old children, my wife and her 14 year old son with me went to visit Casa Geraldo, a winery close to São Paulo, the capital, easily access. We took the gold tour in the morning, had lunch and spent the whole afternoon enjoying the beautiful sunny day at the winery. I would like to share the excellent experience we had, in all aspects. Firstly, we were very well received by Daniela, who presented the interesting history of the winery and then led us through the tasting and tour around the vineyards. It was 2 and a half hours that flew by, it was so rich, pleasant and sensational. Everything in perfect harmony and condition, surprising wines, including cold cuts and many doubts resolved along the tour. Wonderful juices were served to the children. For our reservation at the restaurant, we ordered a variety of dishes, all divine, cuisine that pleases all tastes and very well prepared. There is an option paired with wines too, but as we wanted to drink the Nature sparkling wine again (of the gods) and had two more bottles of red (winter harvest merlot and cabernet), we kept it simple - complete with live music at the right point. Impeccable service at all points of the winery, international professionalism, everyone always concerned with offering the best, in the feelings at home. We didn't miss the opportunity to fill our cellar, we bought one of each label, all of them especially memorable. First world structure, without a doubt we will return many, many times. It's worth making reservations in advance. We stayed at the Hotel Porto das Asas, which is literally 10 minutes from the winery and the value for money was really good.
