I'm usually a big fan of Casey's General Store. I like their subs and sandwiches. At least I used to. Really enjoyed the pulled pork but apparently the don't sell it anymore. Last two times I went there was no BBQ beef ready. Was really craving it so I waited while they heated some up. Got home (3 minutes tops) from the store on Don Tyson BLVD and Thompson in Springdale and bit in. It was ice cold in the middle. Screw it I'm hungry and craving it then found about a third of the beef was gristle and impossible to chew. Couldn't even cut it with a knife (see photo). For a sandwich that cost over $5 with tax that's a disappointment. In my last few visits Casey's has been going downhill. Any suggestions on where to get decent BBQ and subs at reasonable prices? Casey's just isn't cutting it anymore.
