Visited Forfar to meet friends, booked online as Reveiws seemed ok for Cashleys! What a Big Mistake! waitress service was pleasant, but thats where it ends! Starters were passable, but Main Courses were a disaster! Sorry Do Not Eat at Cashleys(now 1871, Forfar Golf Clubhouse) I was a Junior Member of Club in late 1980's, think Clubhouse is same decor! If your hungry go somewhere else!

Was sent a text on the morning of our booking saying the restaurant won't be open tonight !!! Not that it's easy to get an alternative at this time of year within short notice. Very disappointed

Simple high tea menu, food was very tasty and we'll presented. Service was great, friendly and catered for our children. Would highly recommend.
