Unfortunately was refused service because we had a water bottle. Told by the employee that it is a law that you cannot bring water, and we had to leave.

Visiting Port A and was hoping to find a place with good, fresh sea food. We found it! We were here after the lunch crowd, so not crowded at all. Our waiter, Able, was great! My husband ordered the Ultimate Combo, which included a soft shell crab, along with oysters, shrimp, and local fish. I got the Shrimp Lovers platter with 4 each of fried, grilled, and coconut shrimp (jumbo!). Not he came with a side salad and one side (fried okra on his and onion rings on mine). Each plate had enough that we could have shared one, but we managed eat most of both. ALL was delicious and we would definitely return!

We ate at the Castaways on Sunday, August 16, 2015. We ordered the "Ultimate Plate" which included a salad, fries, shrimp, oysters, Red Snapper, and clam. It was more food than two people could eat....and it was delicious! The blue cheese salad dressing was home made and the batter on the seafood was light and crispy. Our frozen Margaritas were the best we've had in a long time. The service was super, fast and friendly. We will definitely eat here again when in town.
