I recently visited Cattle Call in Omaha and had a very pleasant experience. From the moment I walked in, the restaurant felt warm and inviting, with a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. The soft glow of the lighting, the gentle hum of conversation, and the aroma of grilled meats drifting from the kitchen created an immediately welcoming setting. The service was excellent. I stopped by for a late lunch and was able to get a table without any issues. The waiter was very attentive and helped me choose the dishes. I tried the beef tartare and the duck breast. Both dishes were well prepared and flavorful. The beef tartare was beautifully presented, with a rich, fresh flavor and a silky texture that contrasted nicely with its bright accompaniments. The seasoning was a bit spicier and pepperier than I expected, but overall the food was very enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to use slightly fewer capers in the beef tartare to better balance the flavors. The duck breast arrived perfectly cooked, with crisp, golden skin and tender meat that was juicy and deeply savory. Each bite offered a satisfying combination of texture and flavor. This place is wonderful for new addition to Omaha area. We ordered the most of the menu, appetizers Beef tartar, pork belly, crude, steamed momo, green salad, and entrees ordered Morgan ranch ribeye, scallops, duck breast, risotto, and cream puffs. Everything has such good flavors the chefs knows what they are doing here. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants great food and a little different but good different! CattleCall is an amazing restaurant in downtown Omaha for dinner. My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary and had the scallops and ribeye. It is the best steak in town. Also, don’t sleep on the cocktails, they’re all craft and are delicious! We’ll be back!
