Attended The Champion Shell Inn on 12/09/2026, The bar was moderately busy. The food was great, fantastic selection. On this occasion the bar man had introduced me to some of the other customers which made me feel very welcomed and apart of there community. I would say this place is a hidden gem and deserves so much more recognition. Thank you again to the boy behind the bar for making my evening so much more enjoyable and thank you to the customers who were in for making my day a little bit brighter! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30

Our first time visiting the champion shell inn, we were a group of 2 attending the busy event featuring Live Music from sonny daze and the restless nights. The young boy behind the bar sat us at a seat promptly despite being very busy, we were sat with a lovely group of people who we didn’t know but they were all lovely we had a meal to end the evening in the lounge and WOW! I must say this place is a hidden gem. We were served so quickly despite the bar being very busy, the lady behind the bar after the band served us our meal, she was lovely always smiling with a very great attitude both members of staff we met today are a great asset to the team! we will be back and following this venues live music nights. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20 Wheelchair accessibility: Very Accessible

Had a lovely visit here! The fish and chips were absolutely delicious and tasted so fresh. The chips were hand-cut, which was a lovely touch, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Fantastic service, great food, and very good value for money. Would definitely recommend and will be back! ️ Great Pint of The Big T! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30 Wheelchair accessibility: Very Accessible, large ramp at front of the building and side!
