Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype or the $300 Minimum Spend We were genuinely excited to see Georges Nehme perform and enjoy our night at Chapter 1 in Jbeil — but unfortunately, we left completely disappointed. The venue and staff were unprofessional from the start. We had booked a table for five guests, only to arrive and find chairs missing. When we mentioned it to the receptionist, we were told to “find a waiter” ourselves — no effort made to assist us properly. We ordered food and waited over an hour, only to receive half the order — with no sharing plates or cutlery. When we asked about the missing dishes, the waiter informed us they were no longer available, despite still being listed on the menu. We then tried to order something else and were told the kitchen had closed. Not a single staff member had informed us of last call for food. To top it all off, a puddle of water formed under our seats — we were literally sitting in it, and no one attempted to resolve the issue. Drinks came warm, with no ice and no cups. For a $300 minimum spend, this kind of service is unacceptable. If you want a venue that’s actually worth the spend, I’d highly recommend The Palms Beach House — the experience, service, and atmosphere there are on a completely different level. Save your money and your night — Chapter 1 is not it. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
