Although the food was good when it arrived, the timing of the courses left a lot to be desired. There was at least 15-20 minutes in between courses, making the whole dinner over a 4 hour event!

I took a few of my girlfriends here for dinner previous Sunday and I have to say that it has high potential to gain a Michelin star. Every single dish was perfectly decorated for presentation. You can taste the healthy and light flavors in every bite. First time I've experienced geoduck in a tasting menu and it was perfect. Even the deserts were delicious and were not too sweet We left the place without feeling too hungry or too filled in other words, just right. Expect to spend at least 4-5 hours as they are new and not as experienced with service. Besides that, tasting menu is reasonable, wine paring was generous. We were able to split the wine paring in two's as we did not want to drink too much and drive back. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is into fine dining without the pretentious experience and I will surely be back to experience new tasting menu.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Charin is a true treat and a once in a lifetime experience. The food is Michelin-Star quality and crafted with a sense of unique invention and brilliance. The meal started with a 'menu' handcrafted like a poem. Each paragraph describes the inspiration and hints at the treats to come. With the menu's cryptic nature, the experience becomes a game of sorts. Anticipation and curiosity meet and with each course you are rewarded with something truly unique. The meal was separated into 13-14 courses, each presented with a level of artistry and beauty that made it almost painful to dig in and ruin the beauty. Each course matched its beauty with unique and delicious tastes. With such tantalizing flavors, it quickly became easy to get over the pain of ruining beauty. Lucky I brought my camera. We did the wine pairing and had some delicious obvious choices, but also some pairings that really surprised us. In addition, the sommelier provided a very enjoyable tale of each beverage prior to pouring (not all was wine). BE FOREWARNED, this is not a quick experience. This is NOT an experience to be rushed. Our night took at least 4-5 hours. This may be a problem for those with little patience. I would recommend to anyone interested in trying Charin to bring company they enjoy, as well as curiosity, patience, and anticipation of having a once in a lifetime experience.
