Absolutely loved our experience at Angara! The food was incredibly delicious — rich flavors, perfectly cooked dishes, and one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in a long time. Every dish felt authentic and full of quality. A special thank you to Anu & Ketan for their amazing hospitality. They were both so friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the entire experience, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Also, compliments to Chef Saravana for the outstanding food and attention to flavor — you can truly taste the passion and authenticity in every dish. Highly recommend Angara if you’re looking for great Indian food and warm service. Price per person: Rs 5,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I visited Angara Mauritius last month and had a really nice experience overall. The staff were genuinely friendly and made us feel comfortable throughout the visit. From the moment we walked in, this restaurant delivered an exceptional experience — so much so that we went twice during our stay at the four seasons. That alone says everything about how special it is. The ambiance is warm, elegant, and inviting — the perfect setting to enjoy an unforgettable meal. Every detail, from the décor to the lighting and music, creates a beautiful atmosphere. The food is simply outstanding. Each dish is thoughtfully presented and bursting with flavor — a true celebration of Indian cuisine. You can taste the authenticity in every bite, while also appreciating the creativity and innovation behind the menu. Meeting Chef Saravana Bhagavath was an absolute highlight of our visits. He was gracious, inspiring, and genuinely passionate about his craft. Hearing his story and learning about his innovative approach to expanding and elevating Indian cuisine made the experience even more meaningful. His vision and dedication truly shine through in every dish. A special thank you as well to Nitin and the entire staff, who were attentive, friendly, and incredibly welcoming throughout both of our visits.
