"Graduation" menu was 2x price of normal - salads were clearly from a bag, salad dressings were not good, a small basket of bread and butter was $10, penne à la vodka sauce was really just marinara sauce, and to top off the terrible meal the 20% tip was included and calculated after meal and tax. Shrimp dish we sent back - might have been spoiled. It's proper etiquette to figure the tip before tax. Server was the ONLY bright spot. Highly recommend picking somewhere else. Price per person: $100+ Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Will never return. Our first time here since Grazie was in this location. Made reservations, showed up a few minutes early. Were taken to a table that wasn’t yet cleaned and were asked to wait while the host cleaned it. (Pet peeve: the table was left wet, with our new flatware and napkins placed on the wet table). We thought it took longer than it should have to receive the appetizer (just shrimp cocktail), but after being there an hour and a half and still not receiving our entrees, we had to leave to get to a theater event. Barely saw the waitress and no management stopped by to check on us. The waitress agreed to check on our food, adding that our neighbors also didn’t have their food (not our problem). After waiting some time for her to return, we left. We stopped at the host station on our way out and explained that we were leaving without having received our food or a bill, and letting them know that they had our contact information from the reservation and that the manager was welcome to contact us so that we could pay the bill for the drinks and appetizer. Ran into two separate parties at the theater who both said this place has a reputation for being slow. Meal type: Dinner

I made a reservation at Che Bello nearly two months in advance to celebrate my brother’s graduation. After researching several restaurants, we chose Che Bello based on its promising menu and solid reviews — my brother had dined here before and was especially looking forward to returning for a special meal. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but celebratory. When we arrived, we were blindsided by an unadvertised “special graduation menu” — a dramatically limited selection at more than double the regular prices. At no point during the reservation process, phone inquiry, or on their website or social media platforms was this ever mentioned. This felt like blatant price gouging and a bait-and-switch. To make matters worse, the staff admitted they had only been told about the change the day before, leaving them in the awkward position of handling frustrated customers. The manager did make an exception and allowed my brother to order off the regular menu — his entrée was delicious — but the rest of our party was stuck with the overpriced and limited special menu. My own $48 Chicken Alfredo was barely lukewarm and completely flavorless — the worst I’ve ever had. There were no kids’ options either, so I had to share my already small portion with my toddler unless I wanted to spend another $48 on a second bland plate of pasta. Between the lack of transparency, poor food quality, overpriced menu, and a $300 bill for a deeply underwhelming meal, this was an incredibly frustrating experience. We won’t be returning.
