There’s been a lot of attention in the media about the wondrous properties of mushroom extracts- this always makes me suspicious that it’s likely to be big companies pushing the latest fad for their own profits But I honestly cannot overstate the difference that taking these Chaga capsules has made to me. I’ve been on a range of prescription medications over the past couple of decades to tackle been a the of my mental health issues, but have never really been sold on the idea of taking synthetic drugs for the long term. I always felt that surely there has to be a more natural approach to balancing your mental and physical health that really works. In recent years I’ve tried various approaches, some of which have been somewhat beneficial of course, but nothing has had such an immediate and massively positive effect as these capsule have. I noticed a shift in my Eeyore type thinking within 36 hours of taking the first couple of doses (I started by taking 3, the maximum recommended dose, equivalent of 1mg). I can only describe it as feeling like my brain has been subtly re-wired from being a lifelong downbeat pessimist into someone who doesn’t always expect bad news, who gets up and gets on with things and looks forward to each day with a way more positive and optimistic outlook. A week after I started taking them we had dreadful weather and rainwater started pouring through my roof and down a wall in my attic. I know that the “old me” would have gone into a spiral of panic, despair and catastrophism. The “new me” just got on with it, spoke to a few people, found a roofer and didn’t turn a problem into a disaster. I’m going to keep taking these! I prefer the new me. Chaga also has anti-inflammatory properties, I can’t really comment on that as yet. You’ve got nothing to lose trying- these mushroom products aren’t expensive compared to other products which make similar claims and even better, people of Sheffield you can buy them LOCALLY from an actual person- Ricky in an actual shop- Cheeba Cheeba - no need to be making this sort of purchase online from a faceless profiteering company, when a local business is right there for you to hang out in, have a coffee and a chat and find out about the various natural options to help with your physical and mental well-being Meal type: Other Price per person: £10–20
