Been going to Canmore for years, and was thrilled on my last trip to discover this gem. My family experienced amazing service, with the staff going above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was outstanding as well. We had crepes and eggs Benedict, it was all delicious and satisfying. Food came out quickly. Environment was pleasant. Prices were fair. All around enjoyable time. **Originally wrote this review 5 years ago. Returned again today and Chez Francois continues to be excellent. 5 stars for sure. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $20–30

The best meal I’ve had in Canmore & it was breakfast!!! Seriously delicious with friendly service. Great menu with wide selection of different sweet, savoury and a la carte options. There might only be one vegan breakfast option however it was the best vegan meal I’ve ever eaten while out. Whoever created this dish knew what they were doing regarding vegan food. One of the only places I’ve ever seen in Alberta to offer creton! A true French Canadian classic. I don’t eat meat anymore but from what I hear, it’s very authentic. Also excellent cold brew coffee with non dairy milk options! Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
