I was in this wonderful palace last night with my boyfriend, who took advantage of the wonderful location to surprise me, the marriage proposal Everything excellent, exquisite food, impeccable service and attentive to all our needs. The location is unparalleled, being able to taste their dishes inside this wonderful structure is a unique experience. We also wanted to thank the staff for all the attention, for celebrating with us, and the chef for the delicious complimentary cake. We will never forget this experience again. Atto di Vito Mollica is exactly that: the act of Vito Mollica. As simple as it sounds, it offers a truly exceptional experience. Chef Vito Mollica presents his culinary ideas with an obvious inspiration of both Tuscan and Italian tradition. Inside the Palazzo Portinari Salvati, in the surroundings of the Court of Emperors, with frescoes by Alessandro Allori, is the magical dining room. It is like a time capsule, a renaissance museum, and combined with the contemporary yet classically inspired dishes, you will find yourself in the absolute best of times. A wonderful, gastronomical balance between the past and the present. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, not only in terms of food and wine, but also about the historical surroundings. Especially thanks to the attentive waitress Anna, and also the manager Marc, whom made our experience absolutely spectacular. Also, many thanks to the chef himself, Mr. Vito Mollica, for superb dishes, and for the friendly suggestions for the rest of the trip. Being fairly well travelled in the world of Michelin restaurants, it is safe to say, in my humble opinion, that this restaurant is closer to two stars, than the one that they already have.
