DO NOT ORDER Ordered from uber eats waited an hour and a half called the restaurant and was told was leaving the shop now waited a further 30 minutes called again and no answer live 8 minute drive from the shop it’s unacceptable. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Absolutely ridiculous. Waited over an hour before we rang to check where our food was (an 8 minute drive away). we were told it was just leaving the shop and would be with us shortly but it Never turned up. Could’ve just been honest and said you weren’t making it rather than having us wait trusting your word that it was coming. Bad service will never order again.

Terrible service. no delivery, no accountability I ordered a burrito from Chilli Pepper via Just Eat and set my delivery location precisely by dropping a pin at Prospect (formerly Walkers in Peterlee). This is a WELL-known, clearly identifiable site anyone local knows it. It's almost a LANDMARK. After 30 minutes I received a notification saying the order was on its way. Another 30 minutes passed and nothing arrived. I gave them the benefit and waited another 30 minutes... I called the restaurant and was met with aggressive shouting. I was told the driver had “knocked on the door twice” and I didn’t answer. This is simply not possible. There is no “door.” The site has a single, 20-foot steel gate that is manned 24/7. I was on duty at that gate the entire time, alongside another 2 guards, with multiple CCTV cameras covering the entrance, and the rest of the site. No driver arrived. No attempt was made to deliver the order. When I calmly explained this, I was repeatedly spoken over in broken english, shouted at, and even called stupid. The tone was hostile and completely unprofessional. Despite the obvious failure to deliver, I was refused a refund? This is unacceptable. Poor service is one thing, but dishonesty and aggressive behaviour towards customers is another. I will now be taking this up with Just Eat to recover my money. I am completely shocked. Avoid. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
