This is our 'go to' place for a nice Chinese buffet. We live in Glenwood, IA and its a nice 20-minute drive over there. No matter how many times we've eaten there as a family, or with friends, we've never had a bad time. I like the BBQ and don't find the wait long. I create this first, leave it with the cook and then go get a few appetizers and a nice bowl of soup. By the time I finish that, the BBQ is ready. Service is always very prompt and courteous, and I leave them a nice tip although I am actually doing most of the work! LOL. Prices have gone up of course lately, but the place is packed at lunch and usually pretty busy for dinner - sometimes even a short wait.

This place was expensive and miss leading about the prices and they would offer you more drinks so you pay for more drinks the food was not good and most of it was expired and disgusting they also had sauces are expired and crab meat that wasn't cooked horrible services and they scam you

My son likes to consume as much food as possible, so he asked to go to China Buffet for his birthday. Called and they are in fact open for dine in, so we thought we'd give it a shot. I was a bit skeptical about how a buffet would work with the virus threat, but they have it very smartly done. Instead of serving yourself, the restaurant employees fill your plate for you from behind glass. Obviously I'm not overly scared by the threat of the virus or I wouldn't have walked into a buffet restaurant, but if you are being extra cautious I think the measures they have taken will put your mind at ease. Food tonight was excellent as always...in fact letting the grill chef select the sauce for my Mongolian seafood bowl turned out to be a smart choice! Turns out he is much better at it than I am, it was amazing . Service has always been great here, which reminds me....don't forget to tip them as they are doing just as much work if not more for you, constantly clearing plates and filling drinks!!!
