This was one of those rare times when a meal makes you legitimately sad. All of it was bad, except for the little fry breads with sugar sprinkled on them. Oh and the egg roll was okay. Seriously, this meal took the wind out of my sails. I felt like I got waxed, $16 dollars and even the pork fried rice was miserable. Mushy texture and an odd flavor, maybe overcooked soy or something. The chicken in the kung Pao chicken is added as if it were a spice, rather than the standout ingredient - few stringy bits of overcooked chicken like needles in a haystack of carrots and celery in gravy. My friend is vegetarian, and in her meal, the store attendant didn't allow her to substitute pork friend rice for veggie fried rice - they made her spend like $12 more for veggie fried rice. China kitchen is located in a small strip mall. The inside is on the small side. Plenty of parking. I had the orange chicken. On the day I went in I was the only one there. Food is good and a very friendly lady help me out with my order. I would say I would go back. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Order type: Take out Price per person: $10–20 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot
